Jordi Alba announces his retirement from professional football
The decorated Spanish defender joined Valencia CF at the age of 18, the Club where he grew and was given the opportunity to make his LALIGA debut
Following the launch of the Valencia CF home and away kits for the 2022-23 season with very different designs but full of meaning with clear tributes to Mestalla. Now the third kit comes to the fore. On this occasion with the ‘Senyera’ at the heart.
PUMA brings it back for the first time since their sponsorship agreement began in 2019 and for the Mestalla centenary season. This historic kit that represents so much for the Valencians and Valencianistas alike. To commemorate the centenary of Mestalla it includes the logo created to mark this milestone on the back of the neck which bestows much sentimental value to this shirt.
This classic revisited version is a mixture between three existing concepts in all three kits: A NEW GAME thus after lockdown we are back enjoying football in a community; A NEW WORLD as a result of the new generations of players who will stamp their style in football teams all over the world and A NEW FUTURE which derives from the need for football to have sustainability as a key element in the future.
